Dr. Maria Montessori observed children and developed her unique Montessori method based on what she learned. She discovered through her observations that children were best able to absorb knowledge through materials that they are able to manipulate within their natural surroundings. We do hope you will consider visiting us to see her method at work. Classroom visits, called “observations,” are offered from late October until April 30th. These visits put you in the active classroom to see the routines of students and staff. Watch Montessori method in action!
At the Montessori School of Westminster, small group tours for parents are offered during those times when classroom observations are not available – generally, during summer months when school is not in session. These tours are offered for adults during June & July. Additional information & the group tour registration link is located below. Begin your exploration of MSW by using the INQUIRE button or email admissions@theMSW.org. Another option for visiting MSW is to register for one of our school-year Open House events held in October, November, January & February. Open House registration opens in September of each school year. SIGN UP HERE

Summer tours are limited to six adults per session. We cannot host children during our small group sessions; however, enrolled children are provided with the opportunity to visit assigned classrooms before school begins. A campus tour is followed by an informal question-and-answer session. Special focus is given to those programs which match the age of our guests’ children and/or programs where spaces remain available for fall enrollment.
