This fun Earth Day event is designed to give the families of elementary-age children a look at MSW classrooms in action while exploring our magnificent 27-acre campus! Check the Event Details & Schedule provided below to learn more. We hope you’ll visit and consider the benefits a Montessori education provides to students in grades one through five. MSW serves children ages two through middle school.

9:30-9:45 AM >> We WELCOME our guests in the UTZ Field House.
9:45-10:15 AM >> Drop-in OBSERVATIONS (visits) in the Elementary classrooms. Watch MSW students and staff in grades one through six during their routine activities. Seating will be provided for “from-the-sidelines” observations. Visiting children may visit the classroom if seated with parental supervision OR play outside on the adjacent Elementary playground, visible from the classrooms.
10:15-10:30 AM >> UTZ Field House Montessori Method FOLLOW-UP with Suzanne Radcliffe, Director of Admissions, who will answer your questions and speak briefly about admissions for elementary-age students.
10:30-11:30 AM >> EARTH DAY TRAIL HIKE with Stefanie Misner, Environmental Educator. Enjoy a trek through the hillside woods surrounding MSW. Visit the stream. Stop by the campfire. Ask questions about MSW and enjoy the Earth Day outdoor adventure! Please prepare for vigorous hiking conditions by using appropriate footwear, outer wear, and hydration.
